You can find us up on the fifth floor of the Birla Tower at 25 Barakhamba Road. It’s one of those big buildings in a very busy part of town. The elevators can be slow during lunch hour when everyone is trying to get out at once. We spend our days here dealing with all kinds of insurance papers and claims. It’s a lot of reading through fine print and entering data into the system. It’s not the most exciting work, but people need it, so we do it. The office has a decent view of the street below, which is usually packed with cars and people rushing around. We have a lot of different desks and people specialize in different things, so if one person doesn't know the answer, they usually just ask the person sitting next to them. We don't really have a big fancy reception area, just a place for people to sit while they wait to talk to someone. It gets pretty noisy in here with all the phones ringing and people talking over each other. We try to keep the files in order, but it’s a lot to keep track of. Working in a big tower like this feels a bit different than a street-level shop, but we’re just regular people trying to get through the workday. We don't use big words to sound important, we just explain the forms and help people fill them out. Usually, we're out by six.
