Hrc Human Rights Council

We are over at 209 B1/1 in Gupta Corner, right by Naini Wala Bagh. It’s a busy corner of North West Delhi, and we’ve been part of the landscape here for some time. The Hrc Human Rights Council isn’t some big glass building with security guards. It’s just an office where people come when they have problems or feel like things aren't fair. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people who walk in off the street. The 110033 zip code is where we live and work, so we know the local issues pretty well. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with all the files and folders piled up, but we know where everything is. It’s a practical place. We don't use big words or try to sound more important than we are. We're just neighbors helping neighbors out with legal stuff or rights issues that get confusing for most folks. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, but people manage. We usually have the windows open to catch a breeze, though it gets noisy with the traffic outside. It’s just the reality of being in this part of Delhi. We don’t have a lot of funding for fancy furniture, so we make do with what we’ve got. It’s honest work, and we just keep at it day after day without much noise or any special attention.
