Horizon Exports & Imports

Working out of 10165 Sumer Plaza on Gurudwara Road in Karol Bagh is an experience. If you have ever been to Karol Bagh, you know it never really sleeps. There is always something happening outside. Our office handles the export and import side of things. It involves a lot of sitting at desks and checking lists. We have a lot of files piled up because there is always some new regulation to keep track of. Sumer Plaza is a busy building with lots of other offices, so the hallways are usually full of people rushing around. We try to keep our heads down and just get through the shipments for the day. Gurudwara Road is notoriously packed, so getting here in the morning takes some patience. We usually start early before the heavy crowds arrive. The office itself is practical. We have some desks, a few chairs that have seen better days, and a big table for checking samples. It is not a showroom; it is a place where work happens. We drink a lot of chai to keep our energy up during the long afternoons. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it is strangely quiet. We just take it as it comes. Managing goods across borders sounds more exciting than it actually is on a Tuesday morning. We are just here doing the work every day like everyone else.
