Hemant Forgings

Hemant Forgings is located in the industrial area of Anand Parbat at Gali No 13 S-26. It is a noisy place, and the air always feels heavy with the heat from the machines. We have been working out of this unit for quite some time now. It’s not a place for someone who likes to stay clean. There is metal dust everywhere and the sound of hammers hitting steel is constant throughout the day. I grew up around this kind of work, so the noise doesn't bother me much. We mostly deal with small forged parts that go into bigger machines. Gali No 13 is narrow, so getting trucks in and out to deliver material is always a bit of a headache. We have a few guys who have been with us for years, and we all just get on with the job. There isn't a front office or a receptionist. If you want to talk to someone, you just walk in and find me near the back. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from early morning until late at night. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around for the generator to kick in. It’s just the way things are in this part of town. We don't make a big fuss about anything, we just focus on the metal and the orders we have to finish.
