Glass N Design

You can find us in the Main Market of Hauz Khas. Most people think of the village and the fancy cafes when they hear Hauz Khas, but the main market is where the actual local shopping happens for the people living nearby. We work with glass and different designs at Glass N Design, so our shop is full of fragile stuff that we have to be very careful with every single day. It is a bit of a small space, but we have crammed a lot of samples into it over the years. Being in the main market means we see a lot of people just walking by on their way to get groceries or eat at the local spots. We are not a big corporation, just a local shop where we do the work ourselves. The atmosphere in the market is usually pretty friendly, and we know many of the other shopkeepers around here. Sometimes we are busy cutting glass or working on a new design for a customer, and other times it is just quiet enough to have a tea and watch the street. The shop does not have a lot of bells and whistles. It is just a place where we keep our tools and show what we can do with glass. We like being in this part of Delhi because it feels like a real community. People drop in with broken mirrors or ideas for their windows, and we just see what we can do for them.
