Upper Anand Parbat is a busy place, and we are right in the thick of it at Street No.- 10. Our address is T-5, and if you come by, you’ll probably see us moving boxes around or checking lists near the entrance. The street is pretty narrow, so it’s always a bit of a struggle when a delivery truck tries to squeeze through. You get used to the noise of the traffic and the shouting after a while. Inside, things are mostly about getting items ready to go out. There are rolls of tape and bubble wrap scattered on the benches most of the time. It gets quite warm in the summer because the building holds the heat, but we just keep the doors open to catch whatever breeze comes up the hill. We’ve had this space for a long time and the floors are worn down in the spots where we walk the most. It isn't a place for sitting around and relaxing. There is usually something that needs to be labeled or moved to the side. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit on the steps for a bit until it comes back on. We don't really bother with any fancy office stuff. We have a small table for the phone and a few chairs that don't match. It’s just how we run things here on the tenth street.
