Grips India is based out of Sector 66 in the Mamura village area, which is a bit of a mix between old houses and new developments. To get here, you have to navigate some narrow lanes that sometimes get muddy if it rains even a little bit. Our workspace is not very large and we share the street with a lot of other small businesses and local residents. There is a small tea stall just around the corner where everyone goes for a break in the afternoon. Inside our office, we focus on whatever needs to be shipped out that day, mostly dealing with grips and industrial supplies that go out to different parts of the region. The walls are a plain off-white color and we have a few metal racks that hold our samples. It gets quite loud during the day because of the local traffic and children playing in the street outside. I have been working here for a while and the routine is always the same, checking the stock and making sure the labels are stuck on correctly. The power goes out occasionally, so we just sit in the dark for a few minutes and wait for the generator to kick in. It is a bit of a cramped space when we have a lot of boxes, but we make it work somehow. We are just a small team trying to stay on top of the daily orders without making too many mistakes.
