If you ever find yourself walking down Doctors Lane near Gole Market, you’ll find us at 7 A. Herbs & Medicines is exactly what the name says. We’ve been here for quite some time, and the neighborhood knows us pretty well. Doctors Lane is a fitting name for where we are, given what we do. Our shop and office area is a mix of old-fashioned shelves and modern computers. We deal in both traditional herbal things and more standard medicines. It keeps us on our toes because people come in asking for all sorts of different things. Some days it’s quiet and we can catch up on our reading or organizing, but other days it’s a bit of a whirlwind with people coming in and out. We aren’t a big chain store or a fancy clinic. We are just a local business that tries to keep the shelves stocked with what people need. The building has a lot of character, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint here and there. We like the history of Gole Market and being part of the daily life of this area. It feels good to know the neighbors and see the same faces every week. We don’t have any big corporate goals; we just want to keep the doors open and continue helping out with whatever health needs people have.
