We are over at Mercantile House, specifically up on the seventh floor in room 701. Being right here on KG Marg in Connaught Place means it is always noisy outside. You can hear the traffic and the constant honking all day long, but we have gotten used to it after all this time. The building itself is an older one, so it has its quirks, like the elevators taking forever when everyone is trying to get to work in the morning. We spend most of our days at our desks handling whatever paperwork comes through the door. It is a busy spot, and there is always someone coming or going through the lobby. Sometimes we go downstairs to grab a quick tea from the stalls near the main road when we need a break. C.P. has changed a lot over the years, but our little corner in this office stays pretty much the same. We have been working out of this space for a while now, and the shelves are filled with old files and calendars. It is not some fancy corporate setup with glass walls, just a regular place where we get our daily tasks done. The commute can be a bit of a headache with the Delhi traffic, especially on the inner circle, but being central makes things easier for people to find us. We just keep our heads down and focus on the pile of work that never seems to get any smaller.
