Gateway Papers Pvt. Ltd. is based at 4855-56/24 on Ansari Road in Darya Ganj. If you know Darya Ganj, you know it’s the heart of the paper and book trade. Our office is right in the middle of all that history and chaos. The building is old, like most things around here, and the stairs are a bit narrow. We handle a lot of paperwork and physical samples here. There’s always a stack of something being moved or sorted. It’s a busy atmosphere because Ansari Road is never really quiet. We’ve got desks squeezed in where they fit. We aren't trying to look like a modern startup. We are a paper company and the office reflects that. There’s a certain smell of old paper and ink that sticks to the place. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and checking orders. It’s a very practical business. Sometimes the traffic on Ansari Road is so bad that deliveries take twice as long as they should, but that’s just life in Darya Ganj. We don’t have any big posters on the walls or fancy lights. It’s just us, the desks, and a lot of paper. We like being in this part of town because everyone here understands the trade. It’s honest work and we just get on with it every day.
