G K Gasket

If you ever find yourself in Karol Bagh, you know how crazy the streets can be. We are over on Hari Singh Nalwa Street, at 24/1485. G K Gasket is tucked away there among a lot of other shops selling all kinds of auto parts. Our shop is filled from floor to ceiling with gaskets of every size you can imagine. It smells like rubber and old metal in here, which I guess is normal for this part of town. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. Most of the time, we are just digging through boxes to find the exact piece someone is looking for. Karol Bagh is the kind of place where you have to be quick or you will get lost in the crowd. We have seen the street change a lot over the years, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. The fans are always on but they don't do much against the Delhi heat in June. We drink a lot of water and keep moving. Most of our customers are mechanics or people who know exactly what they need, so there isn't much small talk. We just find the part, hand it over, and move to the next person. It is a busy way to live, but being in the heart of this market means there is always something happening. It is just honest work in a very crowded street.
