Future India News Network Foundation is located on the fourth floor of Ashiyana Apartment in Abul Fazal Enclave-1. Our specific spot is Flat Number 404 at J-76. Being on the fourth floor means we get a decent view of the neighborhood, but it’s a lot of stairs if the power is out. It’s a residential building, so we try to keep things relatively quiet out of respect for the neighbors. Our office is basically just a flat that we’ve filled with desks and computers. It’s a bit tight when everyone is in at the same time. There’s always someone on the phone or typing something up. We don't have a fancy studio or anything like that. It’s a very practical, low-key operation. We spend a lot of our time looking at screens and talking about what’s happening in the world. It’s not a glamorous job. We have stacks of notebooks and old newspapers everywhere. Sometimes we order food from the local shops downstairs when we are working late. We don't have any corporate mission statements on the walls. It’s just us, doing our work in South Delhi. We like the energy of Abul Fazal Enclave. It feels like a real place with real people. We aren't trying to sound bigger than we are. We’re just a small foundation working out of an apartment. We just try to get the news sorted and keep our files in order.
