Fine Modellers

We've been here on Ajmal Khan Road in Anand Parbat for a while now. Fine Modellers is basically just us working on different models and pieces people need. It’s a busy spot near J 30, and the workshop usually has a lot going on. We started out just doing small things, but now the space is pretty full of tools and materials. Most days it’s just us handling whatever comes through the door. Sometimes it’s noisy because of the machines. We try to keep things organized but when you're busy making things, it gets messy fast. The shop isn't fancy or anything, it’s just a place where we get the job done. People usually find us because they live nearby or heard about what we do from someone else in the neighborhood. It’s a bit of a walk from the main crossing but not too hard to find. We've seen the area change over the years. Some neighbors have moved, but we’re still here at J 30. There’s always wood dust or scraps of metal around. We don't really do much advertising, we just focus on the work sitting on the bench. It's a lot of manual work and we stay until the daylight fades. Sometimes we’re here late if a project is taking longer than we thought. That’s just how it goes when you’re building stuff by hand. We like the routine of it and being around other people doing actual work.
