Working at the Federation Of Indian Chambers Of Commerce And Industry, or FICCI as most people call it, means spending a lot of time at Federation House on Tansen Marg. This building is a big part of the area, and it has a lot of history to it. It’s not your typical modern office block. It has a more solid, traditional feel that you don't see as much anymore. We spend our days going up and down the halls, dealing with various meetings and a lot of paperwork. Tansen Marg is a busy street, but inside the building, it can be surprisingly quiet in some of the older wings. There are plenty of offices tucked away here, each one filled with people working on different aspects of commerce and industry. It’s a big place, so you can sometimes get turned around if you aren’t used to the layout. We have a lot of visitors coming through Federation House, from local business owners to people from further away. The desks are usually covered in reports and old files. It feels like a place where real work happens, rather than a showy corporate headquarters. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and the building itself is just part of our daily routine now. It’s a practical, busy environment where we just get on with the tasks at hand, even if the corridors feel a bit endless sometimes.
