Executive

I spend my days working as an Executive at 695, B.K.S. Marg. This is in the middle of New Delhi, right at the 110001 pin code. It is a very busy street with a lot of noise and cars going by all the time. My office is a simple place inside an older building. I don't have a big team or a polished corporate look. It is just me and the work that needs doing. I handle the paperwork and the people who come in with questions. Being an Executive sounds like a big title, but I mostly just keep the files in order. I have a small desk near the window, but the view is just of more buildings. The air in New Delhi can be thick, so I keep the fan running all day. I usually bring my lunch from home and eat it while I work. People drop by without calling first, but that is just how we do things here. It is not a fancy operation. I have been here for a few years and the routine is the same every day. I start early to avoid the worst of the traffic on the Marg. The work is practical and honest. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just get through the pile of papers on the desk. It is a typical city job and it keeps me quite busy from morning until evening.
