Edspectrum Foundation

Our office for Edspectrum Foundation is up on the top floor of the building at Naveen Shahdara, right in Dwarika Puri. It is Plot Number 4, and if you are looking for the old records, it used to be 1/12056. Being on the top floor means we get a lot of sun, which is nice in the winter but means we are running the coolers non-stop during May and June. It is a bit of a hike up the stairs, but you get used to it after a week or two. The neighborhood here in North East New Delhi is always moving. You can hear the vendors calling out from the street below all day long. We have a few rooms filled with books and papers stacked up on the shelves. It is not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is when we need it. Some of us have been working together here for quite a while now. We usually eat lunch together around a small table in the back room. It is a simple setup because we would rather spend the resources on the actual work than on fancy furniture or paint. People from the nearby blocks stop in fairly often just to check in or ask a question. It is a busy little corner of Shahdara and we are just glad to have a roof over our heads to work from every day.
