You can find us on the top floor of 19/36 in Old Rajinder Nagar. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, especially in the Delhi summer, but it is where we do all our work for Ecs. The office is right in the middle of everything in New Delhi, so it is never really quiet outside. We handle various construction jobs from here. It is a small setup, nothing too grand. We have our computers and a lot of notebooks where we keep track of expenses and labor schedules. Sometimes the room gets a bit crowded when the site supervisors come in to report on how things are going. We call it "My Constructin Business" because that is exactly what it is—a personal venture where we handle things directly. Being on the top floor gives us a bit of a view of the rooftops around Rajinder Nagar, which is nice when we take a break. We do a lot of the planning and the back-and-forth with clients right here at the main table. It is not always perfectly organized, and there is usually a pile of samples or tile pieces sitting in a corner somewhere. We just try to keep the projects moving and make sure the supplies are reaching the sites on time. It is a lot of coordination and making sure people show up when they say they will. It is basic, hard work, and we just keep at it every day without any big corporate layers.
