Dr Vikram Yadav Dog Clinic

My name is Dr. Vikram Yadav and I run this dog clinic over on Main Nathupura Road in Burari. We are situated pretty close to the Shalimar Palace Banquet Hall so we are easy to spot if you’re driving through the area. I’ve always liked animals and decided a long time ago that I wanted to spend my days helping them out. This isn't one of those huge animal hospitals with hundreds of staff members. It’s a local clinic where I get to know the dogs and their owners personally. We handle the basic stuff like shots and checkups and also the occasional emergency when a pup gets into something they shouldn't have. The floor is easy to clean because dogs can be a bit messy sometimes especially when they are nervous. We have a small waiting area but often the dogs prefer to wait outside where there’s more space to sniff around. It can get a bit loud with all the barking when the clinic is full but we’re used to it by now. I try to be honest with owners about what’s going on with their pets without using too much technical jargon. We just want the dogs in Burari to be healthy and happy. My hours are fairly regular but I’ve been known to stay late if a dog really needs me. It’s a busy life but I wouldn't trade it for anything else.
