You can find Suresh Kumar & Company Impex Pvt. Ltd. up on the second floor of Sonu Towers. We’re in the A-17 unit within the Dr. Mukherjee Nagar Complex. It’s a pretty lively area with a lot of students and other businesses around, so there’s always something happening outside our window. Our office is fairly straightforward. We have some desks, a few computers, and a lot of files because the import-export business involves a lot of record-keeping. We’ve been based in Sonu Towers for some time now and it feels like home. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is being moody, but we don't mind much. Mostly, we are busy sorting through shipping manifests and talking to vendors. It’s not the kind of place with a lobby or a receptionist; you just walk in and see us working. We try to keep things simple and get the orders processed without too much fuss. Sometimes the noise from the street carries up, but it’s just part of being in Mukherjee Nagar. We usually have some tea around mid-afternoon while we double-check the day's tasks. It’s a decent place to work, and we know most of the other people in the building. We just focus on getting the impex jobs done right and making sure everything gets where it needs to go. That’s pretty much how we spend our weeks here. There is always more paperwork to do, but we just take it one pile at a time.
