D.R. Machine Tools

D.R. Machine Tools is located right in the middle of the Anand Parbat Industrial Area. Specifically, we are at Plot No. S-8 on Lane No. 12. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know how hectic it can get. The roads are narrow and there’s always someone moving a heavy piece of metal. Our shop is no different. It’s filled with the smell of oil and the sound of grinding. We’ve been in this lane for a long time. People know us here. The building itself has seen better days, but the machines inside are what we care about. We spend our mornings setting things up and our afternoons making sure everything is running. It's dusty and loud, and your clothes will probably get a grease stain if you stay too long. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most people just come to the workshop floor to see what’s happening. There’s a guy who sells parathas near the end of the lane, and that’s usually where we get our lunch. We’ve had the same crew for a while, and they know the quirks of every tool we own. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside and wait for it to come back. It’s just the way things go in Anand Parbat. We do our work, keep our heads down, and try to make sure every order that leaves Plot S-8 is handled properly.
