Being based in Delhi means everything is always moving fast. Our clinic is right in the middle of it all, though the city is so huge that we really just serve our own little corner. It’s a plain, simple space where we don't worry too much about appearances. We have some chairs for waiting and a desk where we keep all the records, mostly on paper because that's just how we've always done it. The heat in Delhi during the summer is no joke, so the fan is always running at full speed in the clinic. We see all kinds of people every day, from students to workers, and everyone is usually in a bit of a hurry. We don't have any big corporate backing or a fancy marketing department. It’s just us here, day in and day out. The street noise is part of the atmosphere, with the horns honking and people shouting outside. It’s an honest place where we just try to help out with whatever health issues walk through the door. Sometimes we run out of water in the dispenser or the electricity cuts out for a few minutes, but that is just part of living and working in Delhi. We keep the doors open and do the best we can with the tools we have. It’s not fancy, but it is home for us.
