Dhingra Scotways

Dhingra Scotways is over on Hari Singh Nalwa Street, number 1224/5, right in the heart of Karol Bagh. If you know this area, you know how busy it gets with the markets. Our shop is right in the middle of all that noise and movement. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building itself has some history. We deal with a lot of different mobile things, but we’re mostly known for having those hard-to-find parts. Karol Bagh is the place people come when they can’t find something anywhere else, and we try to live up to that. The shop is narrow and the shelves go all the way to the ceiling. It can be a bit of a maze in here sometimes. We don't really bother with fancy decorations. We just want to make sure we have what people are looking for. I spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers trying to track down specific screens or batteries. My assistants are good at handling the walk-in customers while I do the technical stuff. It’s a hectic way to work, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. The street outside is always full of shoppers and rickshaws. It’s a lot of work keeping a shop going in Karol Bagh, but we’ve got a good rhythm now. We’re just a bunch of guys working hard in a crowded street.
