You can find Dewan Auto Stores over in Karol Bagh, specifically on Hardhyan Singh Road at 1083/14. If you know Nai Walan, you know it’s the place to go for anything on wheels. We’ve been right here in the middle of it all for years. The shop is filled with parts, mostly for bikes and cars. It gets pretty loud on this street with all the mechanics and shoppers moving around. We don't have a lot of room for walking around inside because we try to keep as much stock as possible. It’s better to have the part someone needs than to have a big empty floor. We spend our days pulled in ten different directions. One person wants a clutch cable, another is asking for a specific light bulb. We just do our best to find it in the piles. It’s not a polished environment. There’s a bit of rust on the old shelves and the paint is peeling in the corners. But the parts are good. We don't bother with fancy displays. We just know our inventory. Most of our regulars are local mechanics who don't want to chat; they just want their parts so they can get back to their garages. We respect that. It’s a busy life here in Karol Bagh. We close up when the market starts to wind down and do it all again the next day. It’s just a regular auto parts shop.
