Vertex Exim

Vertex Exim is on the second floor of A-261 in Derawal Nagar. It’s an older building, so the stairs can be a bit of a workout if the lift isn't working, which happens sometimes. We’ve been up here for a bit now, managing our export business. It’s mostly just a few rooms filled with computers and samples of things we move around. We don't have a polished corporate image. We’re just regular people who know a lot about shipping and logistics. The neighborhood is busy, and we’ve got some good food spots nearby for lunch. Our work involves a lot of back-and-forth with different companies. Sometimes things go smoothly, and sometimes there’s a hiccup with a carrier or a document. We just deal with it as it comes. We aren't interested in using big words to sound impressive. We’d rather just tell you how it is. If a shipment is going to be late, we tell you. We don't like surprises ourselves, so we try not to give them to others. It’s a lot of hard work and sometimes staying late to finish up a manifest. We’ve built up some good relationships over the years just by being consistent. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s our life. We just keep our heads down and focus on what needs to be done each day here in Derawal Nagar. It gets loud outside, but we just keep working.
