Delton Carbon Industries

Down here on Tank Road in Karol Bagh, things are always moving fast. This is street number two, and our place, Delton Carbon Industries, is tucked into one of the buildings at H-16/142. If you’ve walked through these lanes, you know how it is—narrow streets, lots of small businesses, and a lot of noise. We deal with carbon products, which isn't the cleanest work in the world, but it’s what we do. The air usually has that faint industrial smell, and the machines have a certain rhythm to them. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for quite some time now. Most of the work involves processing materials that go into bigger machines or electrical stuff. It’s a lot of repetitive tasks, measuring things out and making sure the sizes are right. We aren't some giant factory with hundreds of people; it’s a smaller setup where everyone knows what their job is. Karol Bagh is a tough place to work sometimes because of the traffic and the heat, but you get used to it. We keep our heads down and just get the orders finished. There’s no big sign with lights or anything, just the work getting done inside these walls. Sometimes we’re packing boxes until late in the evening to get things out. It’s just a normal day in the industrial side of Delhi, nothing more to it than that. We just focus on the carbon and the machines.
