Our shop is located at 2-B Netaji Shubhash Marg, right on the main road. We are directly across from the Daryaganj vegetable market, so it is always very lively around here. You can hear the vegetable sellers shouting and the horns of the cars all day long. Inside the shop, it is a bit different because we have all the musical instruments lined up. We have got guitars hanging on the walls and keyboards stacked up in the corners. It is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when we get a few people in here at once. There is a specific smell of old wood and guitar strings that stays in the air. We spend our time tuning instruments or helping people pick out what they need. It is not a fancy showroom with bright lights. Most of our shelves are old and the floor has some scuffs from years of people walking in and out. We enjoy the chaos of Daryaganj, even if it gets a bit overwhelming on market days. Sometimes we have to shout over the noise from the street to talk to each other. It is a local spot that has been around for quite a while. We don’t do much advertising; people just know we are here across from the vegetables. It is a simple business run by people who just like music and the neighborhood we are in.
