Our work involves vertical stuff, mostly getting things or people from one floor to another. It’s a lot of technical talk and looking at blueprints in the office. Essel House is one of those buildings where you see a lot of different faces every day. We’ve been set up here for some time now. The office isn't huge, but it fits us and all the files we have to keep. Dealing with lifts or whatever vertical systems are needed takes a bit of planning. We spend time on the phone with technicians and site managers. It’s a lot of coordination. Some days the coffee machine in the corner is the most important thing in the room. We don’t go in for big speeches about what we do. We just take the projects as they come and try to get them finished. Asaf Ali Road always has something going on, so it’s never quiet outside. We like being in the middle of it. It’s a practical business for a practical part of the city. We aren’t trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the installations work like they are supposed to. It's honest work and keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
