Crab Imports

Our place is at 32, Gole Market. If you’ve been to this part of Delhi, you know it’s got a lot of character and history. We’ve been based here for a while, dealing with all the imports that come through. The office isn't anything special to look at; it's mostly filled with samples of things we’ve brought in and stacks of documents that we need to file. We spend a lot of our time on the phone with people at the ports or trying to track down where a container has gotten to. It can be frustrating when things get delayed, but that’s just the nature of the business. The room is usually a bit of a mess with open boxes and packing tape lying around. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to make the place look polished for visitors. If you come by, you’ll probably find us hunched over a laptop or dealing with a delivery. The heat in the summer can be pretty bad, and our old air conditioner makes a lot of noise, but it works well enough. We like being in Gole Market because it’s central and we can get a good meal nearby. It’s a straightforward job, really. We move things from one part of the world to here, and we try to make sure nothing gets lost in the process. It’s just what we do every day.
