Climb Charitable Foundation

We are up on the second floor of L-27 in Shyam Park, Nawada. When you come up the stairs, we are on the right-hand side of the hallway. It’s a bit of a climb since there isn't an elevator, but it’s not too bad once you get used to it. The office window overlooks the busy street below. Nawada is a very active part of South West Delhi. There’s always some kind of noise or construction going on outside. We’ve been at this spot for some time now. The foundation is small, just a few of us working in a couple of connected rooms. We have a couple of old computers and a printer that jams every time we try to print more than five pages. It's a very normal, basic setup. We don't have a receptionist at the front, so we just shout out a greeting if someone knocks on the door. Most of our day is spent sitting at the desks and typing. We drink a lot of tea while we work to keep our energy up. The building is shared with a few other small businesses, like a tailor and a coaching center. Sometimes you can hear the neighbors talking through the thin walls. It’s a practical and cheap space. We don't really need much else to get our work done. The metro station is close by, which is handy for us. We keep things pretty informal. No suits or ties here.
