If you go to 150 Karol Bagh, you will find Chauhan Art Press. We are right in the D B Gupta Market. This is one of those old parts of Delhi where every corner has a story. Our shop is filled with the smell of ink and the sound of machines running. We do a lot of printing here. People come in with all sorts of requests. Some want cards, others need flyers for their small shops nearby. We have been in this market for a long time. It can get very crowded in Karol Bagh, especially during the festive seasons. We keep our machines maintained as much as we can. Sometimes they get jammed and we have to spend an hour fixing them, but that's part of the trade. My father started this work, and now we are just keeping it going. We don't have a big flashy sign outside. Most people know us by word of mouth or just by passing through D B Gupta Market. We have stacks of paper everywhere and samples of old jobs we have done over the years. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but we know where everything is. We stay open late most days to finish up the orders. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. Being in Karol Bagh means we are close to all the paper suppliers too, which helps us a lot.
