Up here on the eleventh floor of Hemkunt House, things stay pretty noisy. Rajendra Place is always moving, and Charu Plastics Pvt. Ltd. is right in the middle of all that chaos. We spend most of our mornings looking at spreadsheets and talking to folks about plastic supplies. It’s not the most glamorous job in the world, but it’s what we do. The elevator in this building at number 6 has its days where it doesn’t want to work, so we’ve all gotten used to waiting or just taking the stairs if we aren't carrying too much. Our office isn’t huge, but we make it work with what we have. There are stacks of samples everywhere you look. We started out with just a couple of desks and a telephone, and now we’re dealing with people from all over. We don't do the whole corporate suit-and-tie thing unless we absolutely have to. Most days it’s just us trying to keep the orders straight and making sure the factory side of things is running like it should. We get a lot of tea delivered from the guy downstairs, which helps when the afternoons get long. Being at 1105 means we’re easy to find, even if the traffic nearby is a nightmare. We’ve stayed in this spot because it feels like home now. It’s just a regular business run by regular people who care about making sure the count is right and the quality doesn't slip. We usually stay until the last truck is confirmed, even if that means missing the early train home.
