G. M. Impex Co

We are over here at No. 1642 in Lal Kuan Bazar, right in the middle of Chandni Chowk. It’s always crowded and noisy outside G. M. Impex Co, but that’s just how things are in this part of town. Most days start early for us because the trucks need to get through before the lanes get too packed with people. Our spot is an old building, nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. We spend most of our time dealing with orders and talking to people who walk through the door. It gets hot in the summer, and the stairs are a bit narrow, but we’ve been here long enough that we don’t really notice it anymore. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough space for all the paperwork and stock, but somehow we manage to find a corner for everything. People usually find us by looking for the landmarks nearby since the numbering can be a bit confusing if you aren't from around here. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing every day. It's not a big office with glass windows, just a working place where we try to keep things moving. We’ve seen the market change a lot over the years, with new faces coming and going, but G. M. Impex Co stays right where it is. Most of the neighbors know us by now. It’s a busy life, but it is what we know.
