Down here at M-57 in Connaught Circus, things are always moving. It’s a busy spot, being right in the heart of the city like this. Our space is usually filled with the smell of wax. It’s a bit overwhelming for some people when they first walk in, but we don’t even notice it anymore. We spend a lot of time melting things down and pouring them into molds. Sometimes the temperature isn't right and we have to start over. It's not a perfect science. The workshop back there is a bit of a mess with all the different scents and jars piled up. We have some shelves in the front where we put things out, but it's not like those fancy boutiques. It's just us working. The floors are a bit sticky in places where wax spilled last week. We use a lot of old newspapers for packing because they work just fine. People come in from the street because they’re curious about the smell. It’s a small team here. We don’t have big meetings or fancy titles. Someone does the pouring, someone else does the packing. The traffic outside is always honking, but we have some music playing inside to drown it out. It’s a decent place to work. We’ve been at this address for quite a while now and don't plan on moving anywhere else soon. We keep a low profile and just focus on making the next batch.
