Bluedivine Foundation

Bluedivine Foundation is over in West Kanti Nagar, which is part of Shahdara. Our address is House No. 452, on the first floor in Gali No. 8. It is a typical neighborhood spot. We aren't tucked away in some high-rise building. We are right there where people live. That makes it easier for folks to just walk up the stairs and talk to us. We have been operating in Shahdara for a bit now. Most of our work is about helping out families who are going through a rough patch. We don't have a big staff. It is usually just a couple of us sitting around the main table, making calls or sorting through donations. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking sound, but it keeps us cool enough. We started this because we lived here and saw that some things weren't getting fixed. We figured we might as well be the ones to try and fix them. There isn't any big secret to what we do. We just listen to what people need and then we try to find a way to get it for them. Sometimes we can help a lot, and sometimes we can only do a little, but we always try. It’s a very local thing, run by people who actually know the names of the people on the street.
