House No. 75-A in Gali No. 3 is where we are at. It’s in Chhatterpur Pahari, which is always a bit of a maze if you aren't from around here. The streets are narrow and people are always parked in places they shouldn't be. Black Stag Aeon is our little operation. We work out of this house-turned-office because it’s easy and close to where we need to be. There’s a lot of energy in this neighborhood. You can hear the vegetable sellers shouting and children playing while we are trying to type. It’s not a quiet library environment, that’s for sure. We do various things, mostly stuff that needs us to be on our toes. The name sounds a bit fancy but we are just regular folks. Our office has a ceiling fan that wobbles a bit, and we have a small kitchen area where we make way too much coffee. Sometimes we work late into the night because the deadline is tight. The lighting in Gali No. 3 isn't the best at night, so we usually leave together. It’s a tight-knit place. We don't have a big HR department or anything; we just talk to each other if there’s a problem. It’s honest work in a busy part of Delhi. We just try to keep the wheels turning every day. The monsoon season is the hardest because the lanes get quite muddy, but we manage somehow.
