Big Bazaar A Divison Of Pantaloon Retail India Ltd

This location at 5271 Bharat Nagar, Shora Kothi in Pahar Ganj is a bit of a landmark for us. It is officially a division of Pantaloon Retail India Ltd, but to those of us working here, it is just the store in a very crowded part of New Delhi. Pahar Ganj is always moving, with tourists, vendors, and local residents everywhere. Our building is right in the thick of it. It is an old area, and the streets are narrow and noisy, but that is the charm of it, I suppose. We spend our time managing the stock and helping out whoever walks through the door. It is not a glamorous job, and the building itself shows its age in some spots. We don’t have any fancy corporate mottos pinned to the walls. We just try to make sure there is enough stuff on the shelves for the people who need it. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in the traffic outside, and everything gets delayed, but we just wait it out and start unloading when they finally arrive. It is a bit chaotic, honestly, but that is just the reality of working in Bharat Nagar. We are a mixed group of staff, some young and some who have been here for years. We just keep things going as honestly as we can in this busy corner of the city.
