Bawe Welfare Foundation

Bawe Welfare Foundation is located at 1597 Madarsa Road, which is right by Kashmiri Gate. If you’ve ever been to this part of North Delhi, you know it’s one of the busiest places you can find. The streets are narrow and full of history, but also full of cars and people rushing everywhere. Our office is in an old building that has seen better days, but it has a lot of character. We don't have a lot of space, so things are tucked into every corner. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you aren't familiar with the alleys. We spend our days dealing with various welfare tasks that come our way. There isn't a lot of glamor in it. Mostly, it’s just sorting through papers and talking to folks who come in looking for a bit of guidance. We don't use big words or try to act like we are some huge organization. We are just a small group working out of a crowded room in a very old part of the city. The tea stall around the corner is where we spend our breaks, and that’s where most of the real talking happens. It’s a bit dusty and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy for that right now. We just want to get through the daily list and help out where we can without making any kind of big fuss about it.
