Avaazein Foundation

We are located at H No. B-22 on the first floor in Pamposh Enclave. Avaazein Foundation is run by a few of us who have lived in New Delhi for a long time. We aren’t a big, fancy non-profit with a lot of backers. It’s mostly just us using our own time and what little we have to get things moving. We started because we wanted to give people a place where they could actually be heard. Sometimes it feels like everything is too loud and nobody is listening. We keep the office open so people can just drop by and talk. It’s not always about big projects. Sometimes it’s just helping someone fill out a form or pointing them in the right direction. We don’t have all the answers, and we certainly aren’t experts at everything. We just do what we can. The space is simple and we keep it that way. We don’t like things to feel too formal or corporate because that’s not who we are. We are just neighbors helping neighbors. Some days are slow and some are incredibly busy, but we show up either way. We’ve been in Pamposh Enclave for a while and we plan on staying. It’s just our way of giving back to the place that has given us so much over the years. It isn't much, but it's what we do.
