Asian Professional Security Association-India Chapter

Our office is way up on the ninth floor, in room 901, inside Pragati Tower over at 26 Rajendra Place. It is one of those busy commercial buildings where you are always waiting a minute or two for the lift to arrive. Being part of the Asian Professional Security Association-India Chapter, we spend a lot of our time here dealing with records and staying on top of our regional duties. It is a high-up view from the windows, but we are usually way too busy with the paperwork and files to look out at the city much. The office is full of metal filing cabinets and stacks of papers that we try our best to keep organized throughout the week. It is a very functional and practical space. We do not have any fancy art or decorations on the walls, just the calendars and charts we need to get through the day. Rajendra Place is a very hectic area, especially around the lunch hour when everyone spills out of the offices into the main courtyard. We tend to just stay in and work through the noise. It is not a glamorous setup by any means, but it is central and it works for what we need to do. Sometimes the central air conditioning is a bit too cold for us, so we keep sweaters hanging on our chairs. We are just a dedicated group making sure everything runs the way it should. It is a lot of phone calls and emails.
