Ashish Youth India Foundation

We’re located at 1389-A on the ground floor in Gandhi Nagar. It’s an old building, and our unit used to be numbered Ix/413-A. We are right on the main road, which is one of the busiest spots in this part of East Delhi. If you’ve been to Gandhi Nagar, you know it’s famous for the garment markets, so it’s always crowded with shoppers and rickshaws. The Ashish Youth India Foundation is based right in the thick of it. The office is on the ground floor, so it’s easy to step in from the street, but it also means we get a lot of noise and dust from the road. We have a few desks set up for the staff and some space for storage. It’s a very practical setup. We don't have a reception area or any fancy stuff like that. You just walk in and we’re there. We work with the youth in the area, so we often have young people dropping by to chat or ask for some advice. It can get a bit chaotic when it’s busy, but we like the energy of the place. We’re just a small team trying to do something useful for the kids around here. We don't have any big corporate backing or investors. It’s all very grassroots and simple. We mostly just drink a lot of tea and try to keep things moving forward. It’s a real, local place for real people, nothing more.
