About Asharika Foundation – Charity & Non Profit Organisations in Central Delhi
Sahyog Apartments is where we set up Asharika Foundation. We’re in Flat No. 54, which is one of the Type C units on Plot No. 3. Mayur Vihar Phase-1 is a familiar place for most people in this part of Delhi. It’s a residential spot, so it feels very quiet and normal, which we like. The flat isn't huge, but it fits our files and the three of us who work here regularly. We don't go for anything flashy. Most of the time, the table is covered in folders and half-finished cups of coffee. People sometimes struggle to find the right block, but once you’re at Sahyog Apartments, it’s easy enough. We’ve been here for a bit now. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather just do the work. It’s a simple life here in the apartment. We handle things as they come. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we take the stairs. It’s just a regular workplace for regular people. We don’t have a big corporate structure or anything like that. Just a few rooms where we sit and try to be useful. If you look for Flat 54, that’s us. It’s a bit lived-in, but it works for what we need. Mayur Vihar has everything close by, which makes running errands for the foundation a lot easier. We just keep our heads down and do what we can.
