Our workshop is situated at 2-1/1224 in the New Shivpuri area of Hapur. It’s in the Ghaziabad district, so things can get pretty busy around here with all the industrial movement. Asg Control Switch Board Pvt Ltd isn't some high-tech glass building. It’s more of a hands-on place where you can hear the sound of tools and see parts laying around on the benches. We deal with a lot of metal and wiring, so the floor usually has some scraps on it by the end of the day. It’s hard work, but we like it that way. The neighborhood is mostly residential mixed with small shops, so we know the guys at the corner store pretty well. We’ve been at this address for a while and the locals know us. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a bit of trouble finding the exact turn in New Shivpuri, but they eventually get here. We spend a lot of our time checking diagrams and making sure the switch boards are put together right. It isn't a glamorous job, and our clothes usually have a bit of dust on them by five o'clock. We don't put on airs or try to act like we're bigger than we are. We're just a small crew working out of Hapur, trying to keep up with the orders and making sure everything that leaves the shop is solid. It’s a regular routine of lifting, fixing, and testing until the day is done for everyone.
