Our warehouse and office are located at AG-100 in Sanjay Gandhi Nagar. This area is mostly about transport and logistics, so there are huge trucks everywhere you look. It’s a bit loud and the air always smells like diesel and dust. We deal with imports and exports, so we need the space for the goods that come through. The office itself is just a part of the main building, mostly partitioned off with some glass and plywood. It’s a very hands-on place. You won't find anyone wearing suits here. We’re usually in our regular clothes, moving around and checking on the crates. The floor is concrete and the ceilings are high. We have a lot of stuff coming in from different places, and it’s our job to make sure it gets sorted and sent out again. Sometimes we’re here late when a shipment is delayed. We have a small corner where we keep the water cooler and a few chairs for when we need a break. The phone rings a lot, usually someone asking about a delivery time or a missing piece of paperwork. It’s a busy, gritty kind of work. We’ve been in Sanjay Gandhi Nagar for a long time and we’re used to the pace. It’s not pretty, but it’s where the work happens every day without fail.
