Anjum Poly Clinic

Running a clinic in Pahad Ganj means things are rarely quiet. We are right in the thick of it here in Delhi. Our space is usually full of people coming in for all sorts of health reasons. Being a poly clinic, we see a bit of everything, which keeps us on our toes. The building is older, like most things in this part of the city, but we keep the clinic rooms clean and ready. It’s a functional place. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. People come here because they need to see a doctor, not to look at art. The staff is used to the pace. We handle the paperwork, see the patients, and try to get everyone what they need. Some days the hallway is packed and we have to manage the crowd. Other times it’s a bit more relaxed. We’ve been here long enough that we know the local pharmacy guys and the shopkeepers nearby. It’s a community. It’s not always easy working in such a busy area, but it’s where we are needed. We just focus on the task at hand. If someone has a fever or needs a quick checkup, they walk through our door. We do our best to keep things organized despite the general chaos of the neighborhood. It’s just how life is in this part of Delhi. We stay open late most nights to help out.
