Alpha Paints Private Ltd.

Alpha Paints Private Ltd. has its facility at C-1/6-4 in the G.I.D.C. Estate of Vitthal Udyognagar. Since we are in the paint business, you can usually see some colorful splashes on the floor near the mixing area, even though we try to keep it clean. The building is a large industrial unit that holds all our raw materials and the big drums of finished paint. There is a distinct smell of chemicals and thinners in the air which you get used to after about ten minutes. We have a small office at the front where the billing and orders are handled, but the real activity is in the back where the vats are. Our days are mostly spent checking batches of color and making sure the lids are sealed tight on the cans before they get loaded onto the trucks. Vitthal Udyognagar is a busy estate, and we are constantly seeing delivery vehicles pulling in and out of the narrow lanes. The staff here has been with us for a while, and we all know the routine of moving stock around to make room for new arrivals. It is a lot of physical labor, especially when a big order comes in and we have to move hundreds of containers. We do not do much advertising; we just stay busy with the work at hand and make sure the batches are consistent. It is a messy job, but someone has to do it.
