You can find us in Paharganj at the Vardhman Diamond Plaza, specifically room 240 on the second floor. Being in the Motia Khan commercial center means it is always incredibly busy. The streets outside are packed with rickshaws, delivery bikes, and people looking for parts. To get to us, you have to walk through the main plaza and head up the stairs, which can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. The office itself is quite small and filled with cabinets that are overflowing with files. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, but the view is mostly just the tops of other buildings and a lot of tangled wires. It gets quite loud during the day with all the honking and shouting from the market below. We usually have the radio playing softly to drown out some of the street noise. There isn’t much room to move around, so we’ve become very good at staying organized in tight spaces. Most of our day is spent at our desks, working through the tasks on our lists. We take turns going out to get chai for the group in the afternoon from the guy downstairs. It is a very central location, which is handy, but the chaos of Paharganj is something you have to live with every day. It’s just how things are in this part of Delhi and we don't mind it much.
