You can find us at 2753 Ranjeet Nagar. Alef Textiles Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this building for a long time. It’s a noisy neighborhood, full of life and other small businesses. Inside, it’s mostly rolls of fabric leaning against the walls and the sound of machines running. We deal with textiles every single day. It’s dusty work, and you usually end up with threads on your clothes by the time you go home in the evening. We don't have a flashy showroom. It’s more of a working space where things actually happen. My father used to say that if the floor is clean, you aren't working hard enough, so we don't worry too much about a little bit of clutter. We have a few regular customers who come by to check on their orders. We talk about the weather or the traffic while we look at various samples. It’s a very grounded way to spend the day. Sometimes the power goes out and we all have to take a break until it comes back on. That’s just how it is in this part of town. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just provide fabric and try to make sure it's what people asked for. It’s a simple business model that has worked for us so far and we stick to it.
