Akhilandia Nidhi'S Foundation

We are over in Laxmi Nagar, tucked inside the Wadhava Complex. If you have ever been to this part of East Delhi, you know how packed the streets get. It’s always buzzing with people and traffic. Our space in the complex is where we handle all the daily business for the foundation. It’s a busy environment and there is always something happening right outside the door. Inside, we have our desks set up in a way that lets us talk to each other without having to get up. The lighting isn't the greatest, but it works for what we need. We handle a lot of different things throughout the day, mostly related to what people need from a Nidhi organization. There is a lot of paper moving across desks and the sound of keyboards clicking away. We don't have a big reception area or anything flashy. Most people who come to see us are locals from the Laxmi Nagar area. We know the shopkeepers nearby and often grab a quick chai from the corner. It gets pretty hot in the summer months, but we have some fans that keep the air moving. It’s a very grounded place to work. We don't worry much about how the office looks to outsiders, we just care about getting the work done. The Wadhava Complex has a lot of history and we are just one part of it now.
