Aiding Hands Foundation

Aiding Hands Foundation is right in the middle of Chandani Chowk, which is a very busy place to be. We are located in the Coronation Building in Fatehpuri. Our specific spot is on the third floor, private number K-6. If you’ve ever walked through Fatehpuri, you know how crowded it gets with all the rickshaws and people moving goods. It is a historic part of town, and the building reflects that. It is old, and it has a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit steep. We like being here because we are close to everything. The office is small and packed with files and registers. We don’t have much room for fancy furniture, but we have what we need to do our work. Being in Central Delhi helps us stay connected with people from all over the city. It’s noisy outside most of the day, but once you are inside the office, it feels like a different world. We spend a lot of time talking to folks who stop by. We aren’t big on formalities here. Most of the time, we are just busy sorting out whatever issues are on the desk that day. It gets very busy during the festivals because of the market nearby. We just keep our heads down and do what we can from our little corner on the third floor. Sometimes the power flickers, but we just keep going anyway.
