We are located over on the 4th floor of Himalaya House. You probably know the building if you spend any time on Kasturba Gandhi Marg. It’s a busy spot in the city. Getting up to the office takes a minute since the elevators can be a bit slow during the morning rush when everyone is heading to work. We’ve been at E 45B for a while now. Most days here are just about getting through the paperwork and meeting with people who stop by about educational matters. The view from the windows is mostly just other big buildings and the street noise down below, but it keeps us connected to the pace of Delhi. Sometimes the tea man comes around and that’s the highlight of the afternoon for most of us. It isn't a fancy setup or anything like that. Just some desks, computers, and a lot of files piled up. We spend a lot of time on the phone or responding to emails. Dealing with education stuff means there is always something new to figure out or a form that needs filling. Sometimes the office gets a bit cramped when we have visitors, but we make do. It’s a practical place to work and we try to keep things organized despite the chaos of the city outside. Most of us take the metro to get here because parking on KG Marg is a nightmare. It's a regular workplace where we just try to do our bit every day.
